かつての戦いで散った、ＭＡ乗りにしてマリューの思い人・ムウ。
地球連合で特殊部隊を指揮した仮面の将校ネオ。
２人が同一人物であることはまず間違いない。
だが死んだはずのムウがなぜ生きていて、なぜ地球連合で戦闘部隊を指揮しているのか。
ネオがムウとしての記憶を持たないのは、記憶操作ゆえだろうか？
答えはいまだ深い霧の中だ。かつての戦いをなぞるように、混迷を極めていく世界。
２つの人生を歩む戦士の運命は、どこへ向かおうとしているのか。

02, Neo and Mwu
At one time he fell in battle, Murrue's beloved MA [1] pilot: Mwu
The masked officer Neo commanded the Earth Alliance Special Forces.
The 2 people are the same person, it's not a mistake.
But he was expected to have died, why did Mwu survive, why he did command a Earth Alliance battle unit?
As for Neo, he doesn't have Mwu's memory, it seems if memory processing is the reason? [2]
The answer is still in deep fog. At one time he followed the way of battle, [but then] the world went into extreme confusion.
As for the destiny of the soldier which walks two lives, where will he head?
Murrue's relations with Neo once more start spinning as last time, can he recover Mwu's memories?
[1] MA = Mobile Armor
[2] I assume "memory processing" actually means "brainwipe".

Heh, I really needed to update here the last two episodes of GSD, but, like, didn't.
Anyway, Murrue let Neo!Mwu go, but he came back saying that he makes the impossible possible in episode 42. In episode 43, he remember a fragment about coming back after Alaska. Then he talked to her and hugged her!!
That totally made my day.

Then yesterday I got the August issue for Animage. There was an article on GSD, and a paragraph devoted to Murrue and Neo!Mwu.

Okayz, it's time to ramble about GSD. I didn't really pay much attention to it yesterday, due to Harry Potter [visit my normal journal, mirai_noah for that].
Although, I did proclaim that I love Mwu la Fllaga more that Harry Potter (the person, rather the book as a whole). But yeah, enough of that.
Anyway, the rumor is that Mwu will get his memories back in episode 40, which is the next episode! w00t!!

Okay, so I was going to ramble in this journal last weekend, but I had to go to UC Davis for Summer Advising. My dad had to sit through all my babble. I think I've confused him, but oh well.

Hi, everyone. ^_^
I'm going to update this journal more often. I've revamped the style and everything.
So what will I be talking about? Gundam, of course, which is what I often normally do in my normal journal, mirai_noah.
I think that I'll be posting about Gundam SEED Destiny for the most part. Even though I fangirl about in my journal, I try to keep it to a minimum, mainly for two reasons. One, because I have people on my friends list that extremely dislike Gundam SEED in general (although we have other things in common, and I'd rather not upset them); and two, because a lot of people disagree with me on a certain aspect.
That certain aspect being about Mwu, and his current situation in GSD. (Trying not to spoil...)
So there will be rambling about that, especially considering that my SEED OTP is Murrue x Mwu.
Other than that, I will ramble on about Mobile Suit Gundam, Zeta, etc...
Like about Char and the secret Char things that Char does.
Bright and his love of hamburgers.
Amuro and where he keeps his secret stash of "special" magazines.
Those kinds of things.
So if you like to read these things, keep this journal on your friends list. If not, I won't mind if you delete this off your list. This is just a place for me to express my thoughts on certain subjects and make silly jokes that no one understands (expect my brother and John).

Yeah, so my normal LJ's cluster is down, so I decided, "I'll go check and see if my other journal is down." Well, no it's not. I made a mistake, because now I cannot get back into my normal journal because it is in read only mode. This is bad, because now I cannot check my friends page, because half of my friends are on friends only, and therefore, I cannot read their entries.
I am pissed.

Howdy. I haven't written here in awhile, have I?

I finally have my boxed set! I have watched up the episode 8. I haven't watched the dub yet, because I am scared of it.
SEED Dub
Back in Alaska, Mwu told Fllay that he forgot something and leaves, but then sense Klueze and stuff. Right.
So, in the episode 38 dub when Murrue asks Mwu why he came back, he says, "Thank you for reminding me what I forgot," or something like that, and kisses her.
If I remember correctly, in the fansub that I have, Mwu says, "I'd thought you'd never ask," or something like that.
So, is that really what Mwu forgot, or did the dubbers just do it to make some sense? I have always wondered what Mwu "forgot". Very interesting.

I realize that I have not updated in this journal is a loooong time. So I shall.

Zeta Gundam is finally being released here in the US. However, I won't have enough money until after Christmas to buy it.
SEED Dub
The knife scene in Saturday's dub episode of Gundam SEED was heavily editted. Miriallia didn't even have the knife in her hand anymore!
SEED Destiny
Still need to see episodes 3-7. Murrue is going to be in episode 8!!!
Um yeah. That is all.

Well, my mother didn't tape correctly again, so I didn't see the latest episode of the SEED dub on CN. Next week it heads over to 1:00am on Saturday.
As one might have noticed, I didn't do reviews for episodes 24 and 25. Because of the fact that my mother wouldn't let me watch the episodes when they were on, I had to watch them during the week, when my life is hetic and I have no time to write silly little reviews.
So, I don't plan on writing anymore, except for maybe episode 38 (because of the Murrue and Mwu Moment) and possibly 46 to the end.

Meh, it's been a whole week since this episode was on. I really don't remember it.
Oh yeah, laser guns. Again. Because laser guns are better than regular guns. Okay.
Gundam SEED wasn't on last night due to a Clone Wars/Samurai Jack marathon. So now it seems that it will stop airing on Toonami at episode 25, instead of 26.
No word if it is being moved to Adult Swim or not.

Luckily, I just watched this one yesterday. So I have some things to comment on:
Fllay-- Still sounds kinds of baby-ish. I'm not sure if that is best way to discribe it.
Natarle-- I miss her saying "TE!" And I have decided her voice actress is very bad.
Murrue-- Still sounds like Relena to me. I guess that is what I get for watching Gundam Wing dubbed to many times.
Mwu-- He actually sounds like he is improving. Good.
And by the way, Duran Duran is awesome. I love the song they did for the James Bond movie A View to a Kill. Shaken, not stirred.

Well, Gundam SEED is going to stop airing in the US after they play episode 26. So yeah.
Anywhoo, no much to say about this one, 'cause I watched it awhile ago and forgot to write about it. Apparently I didn't have much to say on this one.

Well, I didn't get to see this one. My mother has been taping them because a) she doesn't like me staying up late because school's started(yeah, 'cause SEED is on really late [/scarasm]) and b) because my brother has been watching with me, and he supposedly needs to go to bed before I do. Anyway, my father bought a VCR for us, and my mother decided to use it in instead of the one upstairs. The one upstairs works really well, but the new one is crap and she cannot figure out how to work it. So, needless to say, she didn't tape Gundam SEED last night, only Yu Yu Hakusho.
So, I have to guess what they cut out. I am assuming that they took the part out where Fllay wants to do, well you know, with Kira. And yeah.

This episode was fun to watch, even in English. I thought Andy's VA was really good. And yeah.
There were some edits, like when the Blue Cosmos guys attacked them. Cagalli's bath water was more tinted than the Japanese, and Andy's gun had been decorated to look like a laser gun. That was weird. However, they did not cut the part were Mwu looks Murrue up and down in, er, somewhat of a suggestive manner.
As you might have noticed, my reviews are coming a couple days after the episode airs. I've been having to tape it and watching it on Sunday.

Well, I must say that Mwu's English VA is improving. He did an pretty good job in the scene with Cagalli. He still has that slight sound of Tem Ray/Mr. Paraya, though.
And oh-- there was an interesting edit. In the front flashback ("last time on Gundam SEED") they left in Fllay saying to Sai (the scene where Kira and Sai fight) "I spent the--" and then in cut out, like they messed up when the edited it. Seemed like she was going to finish the sentence with "--the night with Kira". Hee.
The next episode should be pretty good. It's the one with Andy and the sauce fight. It will be interesting to hear Aisha's voice.
I'm pimping my new Murrue and Mwu icon with this entry. ^^
